Part 1
1. Using My Fitness Pal track your calories for 3 days.
2. For each day track your total calories, carbohydrates, protein and fat.
3. At the end of each day calculate what % of your calories came from carbs, protein and fats.
3. Make observations at the end of each day on your success or failures.

Part 2
1. Using My Fitness Pal track your calories for 5 days.
2. Predetermine Your Desired amount of Calories. Why did you choose this number?
3. Predetermine your % for Macronutrients ( Macros ) - for Carbohydrates, Protein and Fat. Why did you end up choosing these numbers?
4. Attempt to meet and follow your guidelines for 5 days.
5. List your results for each day.
6. Make observations for each day and the end of 5 days as a whole.

If you are an athlete you may require more protein. Here are the values:

Endurance athletes need 1.2 -1.4 g / kg / day

Each group will be responsible to plan and implement a fun & safe activity day for the Grade 2/3 class. You will have a ½ hour slot each day to do an activity. One day you will do a basketball skill and the other day you will do fitness and a game.
When you are not directly teaching you will assist the other group as helpers, encouragers and working with the students. Each day you will do 1 direct teaching activity and 1 helping activity.
